Privacy Policy

Your photos stay on your device

Sweep uses the Photo Library permission you grant to organize and analyze your photos locally. We never upload photos, videos, thumbnails, filenames, photo identifiers, precise photo locations, or photo search text. Apple PhotoKit may download media from your own iCloud library when you view or optimize it. Your keepers, review tray, cached analysis, settings, and cleanup history are stored locally.

Optional Google Analytics

If you choose Help improve Sweep, Sweep sends app screen views and interaction events, onboarding and photo-permission outcomes, collection and review actions, cleanup counts, scan stages and durations, tool results, app settings interactions, and subscription purchase/restore outcomes to Google Analytics for Firebase. Google also processes device and app information, an app-instance identifier to group sessions, and approximate country/city information derived from network requests. We use this information to understand usage, improve performance, and evaluate features and subscriptions.

Analytics is disabled until you choose to share. You can turn it off in Sweep Settings at any time; this stops further collection and resets the analytics identifier stored on your device. We do not enable advertising identifiers, personalized advertising, or Google advertising consent. We do not sell your information.

Google acts as our analytics service provider. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Firebase’s privacy information. Analytics may be processed in countries other than yours. Event data retention is governed by the Google Analytics property settings; request further information or deletion through the contact below. Turning analytics off does not itself delete data already processed by Google.

Subscriptions

Apple handles Sweep Pro payments and renewal. Sweep reads Apple-verified purchase entitlements to enable paid tools. We do not receive payment card details. If analytics is enabled, subscription product identifiers and purchase/restore outcomes may be recorded for analytics. Cancel or manage subscriptions in App Store settings; uninstalling Sweep does not cancel a subscription.

Your control

Change Photo Library access in iOS Settings. Clear analysis caches and reset keeper choices in Sweep Settings. Deletion requires the system confirmation and moves items to Photos’ Recently Deleted album. To recover storage immediately, manage Recently Deleted in Photos yourself. Removing Sweep deletes its local app data.
